Next Steps

Baptism

Baptism is a sacrament of our faith and open to people of all ages at Grace. Infants through adults are invited to the water and to experience God’s grace. The United Methodist Church recognizes baptisms from other faiths and churches. There is no need to be re-baptized, but we do encourage all those who have been baptized to remember their baptisms at various services throughout the year.

If you would like to be baptized or to have your child baptized either fill out the form below or contact the Church Office at office@vermiliongrace.com or (440) 967-5206. You will be contacted to schedule a meeting with our pastor. The meeting will involve discussing your baptism and walking through the logistics of the service and what to expect.

Membership

All are invited to make Grace United Methodist Church their community of faith. To become a member of Grace you will be asked to learn more about the mission and ministry of Grace, the beliefs and traditions of The United Methodist Church, and to profess the vows of membership. We have several opportunities throughout the year called Coffee with the Pastor to help us all discover Grace, explore membership, and ask questions.

Professing the vows of membership takes place during our Sunday morning worship experience. Each member of Grace is connected to a Shepherd who will help you get acquainted with Grace and find ways to Worship, Belong, and Serve! If you have more questions or you would like to become a member of Grace you can attend Coffee with the Pastor, or contact our pastor at pastor@vermiliongrace.com.

Our next Coffee with the Pastor will be October 1, 2023 at 11:30 AM at Grace United Methodist Church in our Fellowship Hall.
